What exactly is God? When asked, a majority of people will agree that God or a 'higher being' does exists; however few can agree on the nature of such...
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." ~ John 1:1,
"I have said, Ye are Gods" ~ Psalm 82:6
What if God is not a being, what if what we've believed for so long is wrong?
Let's break down the meaning of the two passages quoted above.
In the beginning = first
The Word = spoken desire/thoughts
God = Imagination
Ye = Man
At first there was a desire, and the desire was with imagination, and the imagination became the desire.
I have come to understand and know God as the human imagination. Imagination is the force, the creative power in man that creates his world. Think about it. What has to happen for a new building to manifest? Before a new building becomes a concrete 'thing' it must begin as a thought. Someone must have a desire for there to be a new building, it must first be imagined as a finished project. An architect must begin to design the building in his/her mind. What is in the mind is then poured onto paper by way of drafting blue prints, the blue prints are then turned over to the contractor who in turn orders building supplies. A contractor assembles a team of construction workers who commences to completing what was before only an image in the mind of 'Man'...
Fulfillment is in the seed of the desire... Just like the oak tree is already in the seed of the acorn.
