Often, we don't have enough confidence in ourselves to truly believe that we deserve unconditional love and respect, so we cant (or refuse to) recognize when we're settling for less in our own life.
Why stick it out in a lousy relationship? When deep down, your inner voice is telling you that something isn't right, that you feel sad, empty, and unappreciated, and the way your partner is treating you might not be healthy.
When it's obvious that you're giving your all but getting less than their all in return, take a leap of faith and Let Go.
Do you really want to give your heart to someone who is unwilling or incapable of loving you in return?
We teach others how to treat us by the way we treat ourselves. When a person tells you that they don't love you and you choose to stay in a relationship with them, you're sending the message that you don't love or respect yourself. It's no wonder they would mistreat you, because in essence, you're indulging the behavior.
Think about what it is that YOU want. A relationship is a two way street. What are YOUR priorities?
Stop to think about whether they have the qualities that you're looking for in a relationship. Don't dismiss your need for a secure, loving, committed relationship in order to be what you think someone else wants you to be, just to keep them around.
Love yourself enough to believe that you deserve a completely fulfilling relationship.
